An Audio Message about the Sisters of St. Joseph

We invite you to spend some time to reflect, meditate, and pray in this tranquil space on the Internet. We offer a link to the daily readings for Mass, provided by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

In addition, every day on our homepage we feature one of the 100 Maxims of Perfection, written in the mid-seventeenth century by our founder, Jean Pierre Medaille. Not only can you contemplate these inspirational words, but you can also reference related passages from Scripture, and reflect on their relevance in your own life. Further you can send yourself, or others, your thoughts on these maxims by "jotting" notes in an electronic journal we call the Personal Notepad.

Since the Motherhouse was completed in 1876, the chapel has taken many forms, but no matter what the configuration, it has always been a sacred place where we gather to worship and to pray.

You also may be interested in our daily prayers as well as a glimpse into the prayer life of some of our Sisters. And if you would like us to prayer for you or someone close to you, please send us a prayer request.
